This course will provide an understanding of the risk factors that cause an individual to become a mass shooter, how to identify those warning signs, and to develop an Emergency Operations Plan for deterrence, protection, response and mitigation.
Houses of worship face unique challenges, so balanced approaches will be discussed and considered.
This course is 3 hours long.

Students will receive a copy of the book “Countering the Mass Shooter Threat”.
Be sure to bring a notebook and pen to take notes.
