BLS CPR AED First Aid mastery


AHA BLS AED CPR

The AHA’s BLS Course is designed for healthcare professionals and other personnel who need to know how to perform CPR and other basic cardiovascular life support skills in a wide variety of in-facility and prehospital settings.

This course is 3.5 hours long in the classroom

What You Will Learn

  • High-quality CPR for adults, children, and infants
  • The AHA Chain of Survival
    Important early use of an AED
  • Effective ventilations using a barrier device
  • Importance of teams in multirescuer resuscitation and performance as an effective team member during multirescuer CPR
  • Relief of foreign-body airway obstruction (choking) for adults and infants
 

Students will receive a copy of the 2020 AHA BLS Provider Manual.

Be sure to bring a notebook and pen to take notes.  

No drugs or alcohol allowed.

Upon completion of all course requirements, participants receive a BLS Provider Course Completion Card which is valid for two years.

AHA Heartsaver®

The AHA’s Heartsaver® First Aid CPR AED course prepares students to provide first aid, perform CPR and use an AED in a safe, timely, and effective manner.

This course is 4 hours long in the classroom

What You Will Learn

  • High-quality CPR for adults, children, and infants
  • The AHA Chain of Survival
  • Important early use of an AED
  • Effective ventilations using a barrier device
  • Importance of teams in multirescuer resuscitation and performance as an effective team member during multirescuer CPR
  • Relief of foreign-body airway obstruction (choking) for adults and infants

 

Students will receive a copy of the 2020 AHA Heartsaver® First Aid CPR AED Student Workbook

Upon successful completion of the course, students receive a course completion card, valid for two years.

This course is 1.5 hours long in the classroom

  • How to recognize life-threatening bleeding
  • How to stop life threatening bleeding
  • Getting STOP THE BLEED ready

Students will receive a STOP THE BLEED® certificate upon completion of the class.
